Getaway

     I stayed at a hotel over the weekends despite the fact that I have things to do immediately. I figured that I could multitask. But all I could do over the weekends was to enjoy waking up under the fluffy comforter, huddling and hiding myself from the cold; going downstairs to the cafe and eating copious amount of croissants; watching the golden rays of the sunset and sunrise illuminating the skyline. And as I type this out, it's one in the morning. I'm on Skype discussing fervently with my groupmates. The poems that I am supposed to analyse and the poem that I'm supposed to write are untouched. I am panicking, slightly since all of these things are due tomorrow. But at the same time, I don't regret going on a short, mini-vacation, so to speak. It was much needed, after all. Explosions in the Sky

 Here's something about me: I've never played with fireworks before. Nor do I really want to play with them - I don't really enjoy loud noises. But I've always enjoyed the lights in the sky.
